Every spring is a rebirth of sorts,
a natural time to let go, start anew.
This is doubly true during a pandemic.
Smell the flowers through your facemask.
Let go of excess while holding on to your sanity.
This week, Ryan told me about some of
the things he has decluttered this year:
Christmas lights, three shirts, an inversion table.
Yes, even as the minimalists, we’re still letting go.
Today, I tossed some ill-fitting shorts in my donation bag.
Last week, a jacket, a pair of pants, two potted plants.
Last month, a few kitchen utensils that didn’t adhere to my rules.
How about you? Text an emoji of the most recent thing you decluttered to 937-202-4654. Get creative. Those texts go straight to our personal phones, and we respond to as many as we can. If you text us, we’ll also send you our Monday Morning Minimal Maxims every Monday to start your week with a small dose of simplicity. During this pandemic, you can also text us your questions—we’ll personally answer as many as we can.
